In recognition of the 50th anniversary of our classic original boot, and the 50th anniversary of the culture that made it an icon, we celebrate the birth and legacy of hip hop and the freedom of self-expression it embodies. The Timberland Hip Hop Royalty Boot Remixes the classic in a Glorious purple waterproof LEATHER with premium crafted details inspired by the four pillars of Hip Hop: DJ’ing, Graffiti, MC’ing, and Breakdancing. With the vision stemming from our original 6-inch waterproof boot, throughout its silhouette you’ll find elements of hip hop culture; from the microphone cord inspired aglets to the vinyl record influenced heel wrap. Even the graffiti stenciled look of the Timberland® logo and the purple color that mirrors the colors found in a mural of the founder of hip hop DJ Kool Herc are seamlessly integrated into its imaginative design. The boot comes in custom packaging, designed to honor Sedgwick Ave - the 1973 birthplace of hip hop.
