In February 2023, to honor Black History Month, TĀKOUT partnered with Bronx native Eli “CHOPPAFAM” Moore - a student-athlete and rising basketball talent at Cardinal Hayes High School - for a powerful docu-video project celebrating youth resilience and self-expression.

The video followed Eli through his daily routine, offering a candid look at his inspiration, discipline, and the balance he maintained between mental and physical health. Framed through the lens of his Bronx upbringing the piece highlighted the strength, focus, and determination that defined his journey both on and off the court.

Premiered at the TĀKOUT flagship in Fordham, the documentary served as a tribute to the next generation of creators and changemakers. This collaboration emphasized TĀKOUT’s mission to uplift local voices and honor the stories that shape our communities - especially during moments of cultural reflection and celebration.
