Kompakt Record Bar is a small but vibrant venue located in Seoul’s Apgujeong neighborhood, first opening its doors in April 2018. Founded by JM, a veteran graphic designer and DJ, the space merges design, music, and culture in a uniquely intimate setting of under 30m². Named after the German word "kompakt" to reflect its simple yet dense energy, the bar features expertly curated DJ sets and a vintage sound system tailored for close-knit experiences. With its focus on quality music, atmosphere, and accessible drinks, Kompakt Record Bar continues to grow as a cultural touchpoint, setting a new standard for small-scale, meaningful nightlife.
