SACE TIE SEMZ
In August 2021, TĀKOUT debuted its first-ever collaboration with NYC multimedia artist Mike IRAK. The project featured a limited run of 10 exclusive prints titled “SACE TIE SEMZ,” created as a tribute to late members of the legendary IRAK crew.
Each 20 x 16 artwork was printed on archival EPSON Cold Press Natural 340 GSM paper and included a premium authentication hologram and certificate. The design portrayed Pipo-Kun — the mascot of the Japanese police — under a rain of money, a visual homage to the artist’s Bronx upbringing and the crew’s motto: “Every day was New Year’s.”
The prints were made available exclusively at the TĀKOUT flagship in Fordham, Bronx, and quickly sold out. This unique drop highlighted TĀKOUT’s mission to honor street culture and support local creatives through meaningful artistic collaborations.
